Using Greasemonkey Auto-reload Script in Browser Games

While playing many MMORPGs, a.k.a. Browser Games, you must have faced the situation where you need to repeat a task for a number of times. It is possible to be done more easily, by reloading the browser page, and avoiding all those mouse-clicks on the links involved in the process. But even this easier way could be a nuisance if you have to do it for a number of times, everyday.

So, please let me present a solution for this: The GREASEMONKEY AUTO-RELOAD SCRIPT for Mozilla Firefox browser.

How it works:
If you are familiar with the Firefox browser, you must know, that there are ‘add-ons’, or ‘extensions’ that can be added/installed into it. They can equip your simple, vanilla Firefox browser with a lot of cool functions, making it much more powerful, and sometimes, even beautiful!
Greasemonkey is a Firefox add-on, which can be installed/added to the modern Firefox browser. Its purpose is to help the user to load and run scripts on their browser. Different scripts have different actions; they can make your browser work automatically in a way they have been programmed.
There is a script called ‘auto-reload script’ that can make the browser to reload a page for endless number of times. You need to install it using Greasemonkey; and then run it in your browser to start the automatic reloading of the active tab/page.

How to do:
First you need to have the Firefox browser installed in your system. If you do not have it, please visit http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ to download and install the latest Firefox browser.
Then you need to install the Greasemonkey add-on to your Firefox browser.
Start Firefox, and go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ and click ‘+ Add to Firefox’.

You may need to restart your browser. After installing Greasemonkey, you will have a ‘monkey’ button in the top-right corner of your Firefox browser.

Then go to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/22846 and install the Auto-reload Script.

Now, go to the main menu of Firefox browser, by clicking the ‘Firefox’ button on top-left. Then click ‘Add-ons’.

Under the Greasemonkey ‘User Scripts’ tab, you will find every Greasemonkey script installed in your Firefox browser. To activate the script, click ‘Enable’.

In order to use this script while playing any browser game (and have an unfair advantage over others); click on the arrow besides the monkey button on the top-right corner.
Then select ‘User Script Commands’ and click ‘Set this page to Auto-reload Script’.

The active browser page will start reloading automatically. To stop it from reloading, simply click the Greasemonkey button on the top-right corner.
